The Sarisan Slovak Folk Ensemble of Detroit, Michigan was founded in 1971 by Milan Straka and continues under his direction today. The Ensemble has traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as Europe, and has performed at various ethnic festivals, cultural events, charity benefits and fraternal events in Detroit and its surrounding suburbs.
